Please Help!! I have a mite problem and I have researched and bombed, nothing is working, they will not goaway?
Okay, so a family member of mine gave me some couches that had been sitting in their garage for idk how long, I am thinking this is where I got some kind of mites, they crawl all over me but do not bite, they almost feel like fleas but I am SURE they are not, and I cannot see them at all but can feel them, they once got so bad that I slept naked in the bathtub after not getting any sleep for days and I could still feel them, so i went to the hospital, they told me to use lice shampoo and spray, or bomb. So, i have done this several times to no evail. I have researched and tried everything to get of these. I got rid of the couches, in the meantime they spread to the bed, a twin bed and the only one I have for my daughter and I, I used some warm water mixed with bleach and vinigar and soaked the bed all over. Well, now they have spread to a new couch I bought. I tried to be careful not to let this happen, but it has, and they are starting to get bad again. I really do not want to spray bleach on the new couch and do not want to throw it away like I did the last ones. I still am not positive if they are out of the bed after spraying the bleach and vinigar, I was too scared to find out, but now I can feel them on the new couch that has a pull out bed. If someone knows anything about these things, they live in the furniture and DO NOT go away eventually like I have read on the ‘net they only get worse. I can keep them to a minimum by constantly bombing or spraying but it is getting way too expensive. Please help me. I apprececiate it very much. Thank You!!!
You need to study up on the "mite reproductive system".
They lay eggs.
You kill the mites but the eggs can only be killed at a certain time.
They hatch and the cycle repeats

Wait. Back up. You have never seen the bugs? Itch is a very subjective symptom and I have seen this scenario many times. Please stop all the chemicals as they may be making your skin worse and they are not fixing the problem long term. See your dermatologist, not your primary care, but a specialist and explain the situation. They will evaluate your skin and consider the history of the progression. Do you have sores on the skin? Cover the couch with a blanket you can wash and get the appointment with the dermatologist. Keep calling for cancellations as they do come up. We are successful treating this.

Save yourself money and time by seeking professional help to get rid of the mites/fleas. Never had them my self but imagine they are quite annoying. Who on earth told you to use bleach and vinegar?

This is a long shot but thought I’d tell you about it anyway. As you say you sannot see the mites are you sure that they are there. There is a condition called formication where it feels as though millions of creatures are crawling all over your skin. Is your daughter feeling them too? Or is she feeling them becaue you are. Do a search on formication and see what you think. The sensation could have a medical origin.
