How do I go about starting an organization that's job is too warn kids about alcohol?
I know its long but I can’t keep quiet anymore. PLEASE, PLEASE read.
Please if you are an alcoholic please don’t say anything that will influence these kids on here in the wrong way. I was one of you for going on 10 years. I know good and well how an addicted mind thinks, and just recently got away from it and my eyes are finally opened. Is there anyone out there who has the means to help me out in my cause. If so e-mail me and we can talk about it.
I would like for all the money to be used to teach kids of the dangers of alcohol. I would want full drunk drivers victims vidoes included, videos of the stories of rape victims, and stories from people where alcohol has ruined there lives, and survivor stories. I think it would be good to go to the high school and college campuses and really drive it home to them. Maybe even have live speakers. I know that this probably won’t even go anywhere but its time something is done. This problem in young people has gotten completely out of control.
I also want to point out the media as well. Point out the fact that they are really in league with the alcohol companies and are directing there messages towards teens and young adults. They are introducing the wrong message both with sex and with drugs and alcohol. All the make the BIG bucks. Greed and deception is there game, and they play it rather well. Who will support my cause?
I would also like for Police Officers to come forth in there community and publically announce that the biggest percentage of situations they deal with envolve intoxicated young people. To get the message across that this is russian roulet and that it is actually a hard core drug that has become FAR too powerfull.
I myself am an individual who also happens to suffer from a disorder known as Aspergers Syndrome ( A very high functioning form of autism). So I’m not good at handling matters like this but that doesn’t mean that I feel any less strongly about it.
If they would being willing to participate I would also like to get caring celebrities involved. I am poor myself but I have a vision for this.
I don’t care who takes this idea and runs with it. All I care about is that it actually gets set into motion. We need to Drive the message a little further than we have so far.
